This heavy ounce denim shirt crafted from KURABO DENIM "KD-8" and featuring various hand-applied finishing treatments.
Crafted from 14oz, thick yet soft fabric intentionally dyed using the "rope dyeing" method to encourage fading this piece develops a rich, authentic, and increasingly characterful patina the more it is worn.
It features a loose, wide fit silhouette, with pockets on both sides of the chest and an embroidered logo centered on the upper back.
The cuffs are adjustable, allowing for size customization.
Through a series of entirely manual processes, each piece acquires a unique, natural, vintage like aged appearance.
Its thick, relaxed fit offers great versatility, allowing it to be worn as a denim jacket.

About[ KURABO DENIM『KD-8』]

In 1973, Kurashiki Spinning (Kurabo) installed equipment for spinning denim yarn at its factory in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture. This marked the first time in Japan that the entire production process from spinning to dyeing and weaving was carried out domestically, resulting in the first mass-produced, authentic Japanese denim fabric.
This 100% cotton denim, with its substantial 14ounce weight, gained international recognition for its quality and material. It was supplied not only within Japan but also to Levi’s in the United States the very home of denim where it was adopted for use. This achievement laid the foundation for what is now known as "Japan Denim."
